Terms of service
Last updated: May 22, 2026
These terms govern your use of PresentCare. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
What PresentCare is
PresentCare is a memory tool for families and caregivers. It records medical visits and generates plain-language summaries using artificial intelligence.
PresentCare is not a medical device and has not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any other regulatory body. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition.
AI summaries
Summaries are intended as a memory aid for you and your circle of care. They may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read in a PresentCare summary. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or emergency services immediately.
Recording responsibly
By recording, you confirm you have informed all parties in the room. Some states require everyone present to know they are being recorded. You are responsible for following local laws, including two-party consent requirements where they apply.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate account information.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use PresentCare for unlawful surveillance or without required consent.
- Attempt to access another person’s data without authorization.
- Interfere with the security or operation of the service.
- Misrepresent AI-generated summaries as official medical records.
Intellectual property
PresentCare and its branding remain our property. You retain ownership of the content you create, and you grant us the rights needed to host, process, and display that content to provide the service.
Beta service
PresentCare is currently offered as a beta product. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted for maintenance or improvement.
Disclaimer of warranties
PresentCare is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PresentCare and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated summaries.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
