PresentCare (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Account information such as your email address and name.
• Audio recordings and transcripts you choose to create in the app.
• AI-generated visit summaries and related metadata.
• Circle membership and sharing preferences you configure.
• Basic device and usage data needed to operate and improve the service.

How we use information

We use your information to:

• Provide recording, transcription, and summary features.
• Share summaries with people you invite to your Health Circle.
• Send sign-in links, notifications, and service messages you request.
• Keep the service secure, reliable, and improving over time.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run PresentCare (for example, secure cloud hosting, transcription, and notification delivery), and with people you explicitly invite into your circle.

Health information

PresentCare may process sensitive health-related information you choose to record. We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and other safeguards appropriate to the data we handle.

In the event of a breach of unsecured protected health information, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule and applicable state laws.

Your choices

• You can delete recordings and summaries within the app where available.
• You can leave a circle or remove members you invited.
• You can request account deletion by emailing hello@presentcare.app.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Children

PresentCare is intended for adult caregivers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
